The main objective of this focus area is to develop the Top Reference Ontology (TRO) that will be the apical point of the OCES ontologies.
Moreover, OntoCommons will develop a set of Middle Level Ontologies (MLOs) that will be the foundation for the lower level ontologies development, along with a set of alignments between TLOs and the MLOs that will constitute the foundation for lower level ontologies interoperability.
